How do I apply Vlieseline Decovil Light Beige Fusible stabiliser to my fabric?
Place the decovil light with the adhesive coated side on the wrong side of the fabric.
Then cover with a cloth using lots of steam and press the iron carefully for about 10 seconds, step by step each area.
Allow the pieces to cool flat for about an hour before using, so that the adhesive can set properly.
 
My personal preference is to use a woven interfacing ashered to my fabric first then apply the decovil light, I find this gives the best results. I always keep decovil light out of my seam allowance to reduce bulk in the seams this makes it easier to sew but also means the seams arent bouncy and can be pressed or sewn flat if needed.
 
I RECOMMEND TO TEST THE DECOVIL LIGHT BEFORE STARTING YOUR PROJECT. AS THIS IS A NON WOVEN STABILISER IT NEEDS STEAM TO MAKE IT ADHERE TO THE FABRIC.

All my orders are sent out via royal mail and you are able to choose the delivery method you prefer at checkout. The Vlieseline Decovil Light Beige Fusible stabiliser will be sent out folded, on receiving it please unfold and re roll to avoid permanent creasing. Any bag making interfacing or stabiliser that is sold is increments of 1/2m or 1m when purchased in multiple quantities will be sent in a continuous piece, but in pieces no longer than 5m (so if you were to order 10m you would be sent 2 x 5m pieces) This is due to the size of my work area and to enable folding the bag making interfacing and stabilisers safely.
