Where are the Bag Making Workshops held?

The workshops are currently held at Penshaw Masonic Hall, Station Rd, Penshaw, Houghton le Spring DH4 7LQ, please make sure to check your booking though as occasionally workshops may be held in a different location.

What do I need to bring with me to the bag making workshop?

Attendees will need to bring with them;

  • Sewing machine, including foot pedal and power cord and any aids you need for your sewing machine.

  • Their favourite sewing and cutting tools  (I will have a cutting station set up with rotary cutters and scissors too as well as a pressing station with a heat press and irons. )

  • Fabric, interfacing, hardware and threads for your projects.

  • It is useful to have a cushion for the chair to make sitting at the machine more comfortable (hotel chairs can be low), an extension cord, a light that attaches to your machine.

  • Attendees will send information to help with fabric choices etc before the workshop.
