Service Description

Not just for bag makers, whether you are a bag maker, dress maker, quilter, hand sewer all are welcome. Join other sewists for a day of sewing, drinking tea, eating cake and all round merriment. The space is set up so each sewist has their own sewing space with a separate shared cutting and pressing space to use if needed. Bring your current project with you whatever it may be, and enjoy creating with other like minded people around you. Tea, coffee and cake are provided for you. Spaces are limited and must be booked and paid for in advance. 24 hours notice is required to cancel your space, cancellations under 24 hours are charged in full. You may transfer your space to anyone on the waiting list but this must be arrange between the transferring parties and an email sent with the new attendees details. Sessions from 10am-3pm To book session click the book now button below select the date that corresponds to the date you are booking, select next, complete the details and make payment. Then simply turn up on the day with your day with your sewing machine and sewing project. Sessions are held at Penshaw Masonic Hall, Station Road, Penshaw, DH4 7LQ. It is located just off the Shiney Row round about. There is ample free parking and everything is located on the ground floor for easy access.
